Last weekend, tried out Umai Ya Japanese weekend buffet at IOI Boulevard, Puchong. I've heard quite a lot of good review of this restaurant so decided to try it out instead of the usual Maiu Restaurant. Priced at RM58 ++ per person it comes with unlimited serving of beer. The ala carte buffet menu
Fresh sashimi - salmon, butterfish, cuttlefish, seabass & octopus
Smoked duck salad, fried salmon fish head, chawanmushi, grilled prawn
Tempura soft shell crab, endaname, salmon's fish soup, grilled lady fingers and grilled beef with spring onion
Cold noodles and ice cream 😀
Had 3 glasses of beer too

Verdict, very satisfied with the quality and serving of foods. Sad to say, Umai Ya serve salmon's fish head in small pieces and not by whole piece. Even that, the limited head's comes mixed with fish fillet too. I don't get my craving fixed! 😡
