Magnificent Semi Fine Dining @ Tanzini, GTower

Planning for a romantic date or special occasion with your loved one? Well, you might want to check out the award winning Restaurant Tanzini located on the 28th floor of GTower. The semi fine dining restaurant serves up modern European cuisine prepared using premium quality ingredients and modern global cooking methods with heritage recipes. From sourcing, preparing till presentation of dishes, Tanzini went out of their way, making sure only quality cuisine are presented to their diners. The dishes here are also infused with Asian flavours with a modern twist. We had the opportunity to sample some of the new additional items on the menu.

Elegant and sophisticated ambiance, perfect for a romantic date.

Private dining room are available for large groups.

Extensive selection of wines.

We started off with some soft and fluffy freshly baked bread served with olive oil, vinaigrette and spicy dips.

It was a bubbly evening as we indulge in the light and fruity Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut Cava to complement our magnificent dining experience.

Caprese RM38
Irresistibly tangy and sweet Roma tomato and slightly sour buffalo mozzarella topped with fresh arugula. What a great combination, highly recommended!

Quinoa Fruit Salad RM26
Fruity healthy quinoa salad balanced with tart vinaigrette and refreshing mint dressing.

Tomato and Crab Meat Timbale RM28
Creamy and refreshing chilled tomato soup topped with crab meat and avocado was outstanding with distinctive flavour.

Cheese Wheel Pasta RM48
Aged Parmesan Cheese, Fish Roe and Baby Spinach with Ham.

The flaming cheese wheel melts the cheese, taking melted cheese to a whole new level.

The pasta was given a good swirl in the HUGE cheese bowl ala minute in front of our very own eyes.

The end result? Ohh... so rich and creamy, sinfully good! The pasta is in-house made from scratch using low-gluten flour, thus giving it a chewier texture when cooked. Must try!

Risotto Gamberi RM58
The saffron risotto served with King tiger prawn was flavourful, but slightly on the al dente side for my taste.

Spezzatino D'agnello RM48
Slow braised to perfection, the balsamic lamb shoulder was fork tender and packed with herbs and sweet caramelized pearl onion. The gravy would go really well with breads. Yum~~~ Must try!

Banana Pannacotta RM22
We ended our meal on a sweet note with an interesting combination of caramelized banana paired with refreshing tropical fruits, mango gel and coconut powder. The luscious dessert was pretty tart and so addictive. Must try!

Molten Valrhona 7 RM32
Araguani 72% Financier, Manjari 64% Sable, Guanaja 70% Chantilly, Tanariva 33% Mousse, Bahibe Lactee 46% Ganache, Whipped Dulcey 32% and Caraibe 66% Disc

Must try for the true chocolate lover. The hot chocolate sauce melts the top part to reveal the gooey heavenly chocolate inside. Truly mesmerizing presentation!

All in all, it was a wonderful dining experience with amazing foods and attentive service. Pricing, a little on the upscale side, but definitely worth it for a special occasion. Tanzini is accessible via Maitre D' counter in Lobby B. (GF)
