Eat, Drink & Play @ Tujo Brasserie & Grill

'Eat, Drink & Play' :D
Throwback to such fun afternoon at the Tujo Brasserie & Grill with wonderful cocktails, awesome foods and great company. A tropical glasshouse in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Tujo is located on the ground floor of the prestigious Ascott Residences. Helmed by the inimitable SOUL Society Group, which owns restaurants such as SOULed OUT, WP and Hubba, Tujo has upped its game in the kitchen and bar alongside the rejuvenated atmosphere recently.

We had the pleasure of being invited to Tujo's media preview tasting a few weeks ago. Diners now can sink their teeth into a selection of premium cuts From The Grill such as the infamous Tomahawk, a glorious 1.3kg Sanchoku Wagyu from Australia. However, do note that the Sanchoku Wagyu topped with Burnt Raclette require waiting time of at least an hour, but good stuff is worth to wait, right? Other meats available From The Grill includes chicken, lamb and seafood with customised rubs and marinades. Also, other new dishes to wrap your palate around such as the Lemon Pepper Halibut and Black Miso Haddock, plus a fine selection of main courses, pastas, pizzas, salads, soups and light bites.

Chicken Wings
Deep fried Korean spicy style.

Basil Walnut Chicken Pasta
Creamy basil, nuts & grilled chicken with fettucini.

Lemon Pepper Halibut
Pan fried and served with sweet mango salsa.

Kuro Squid Ink Pasta
Tossed squid ink pasta spaghetti with crab meat, sliced geoduck and salmon roe.

Short Rib Nasi Lemak
Coconut flavoured rice with grilled spicy short rib, papadum and boiled egg.

Teriyaki Chicken Pizza
Grilled chicken, white radish, bonito flakes with teriyaki sauce & wasabi mayo.

Tantalize your tastebuds with a range of 16 new "Malaysiana" cocktails, lovingly dubbed Hometown Hooch. Featuring a wealth of ingredients available in Malaysia, Tujo believes that local ingredients stand up to pricier imported ones. The true boozy interpretations of Malaysian favourites, the Hang Li Mau with an addition of rum to a meld of calamansi, lime juice and gula Melaka and ABC (Alcoholic Batu Campur) a mix of tequila and Irish cream liqueur. If you're up for a bit of adventure, wrap your taste buds with the contemporary cocktails like the Mystic Manggis Iced Lolly packed with an abundant local ingredients or even a surprise addition of coconut flakes in the Boozy Blues.

If you're a die hard Bloody Marys fan, don't miss out on the unlimited DIY Bloody Marys at an introductory offer of RM60++ only. After all, there's only 125 calories in a glass of Bloody Mary, the lowest calorie cocktail ever! :p

With 21 garnishings and condiments to choose from, that's quite a lot of permutations.

If you fancy an aphrodisiac, saunter up the Oyster Barchoose. From fine Irish, Dutch or French oysters, you'll be spoilt for choice.

Alright folks, time to get rid of those ties and coats, let the tropical ambience of the refreshed Tujo take over for a couple of hours. We bet you'll leave with full bellies, a lighter step and a silly smile, just like me! Lol
