Ring In The Lunar New Year @ Celestial Court, Sheraton Imperital Hotel Kuala Lumpur


The Lunar New Year is soon upon us! Have you decided where to celebrate with your family and loved ones? Why not ring in the Year of the Boar with four auspicious set menus at the newly refurbished Celestial Court at Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The delectable set menus available from 15 January to 19 February 2019 namely - Wealthy Treasures, Golden Fortune, Stellar Prosperity and Golden Prosperity are priced from RM2,088nett per table of 10 persons. All the set menus specially curated by Executive Chef Ho and his team starts with the obligatory premium Celestial Court's Signature Yee Sang and end with Deep Fried Chinese New Year Cake with Yam. Last week, we were happy to be back at Celestial Court and fortunate enough to be invited to sample the Golden Fortune set menu.




The all-new Celestial Court exudes an elegant atmosphere with warm lighting, modern furnishing and timber wall.

Prosperity Smoked Salmon and Snow Pear Yee Sang
The colourful yee sang features an appetizing mix of refreshing ingredients served with thick slices of aromatic smoked salmon and sweet & tangy in-house made plum sauce was absolutely divine.
Celestial Court's Signature Yee Sang comes in 5 varieties which is available for a la carte dine-in and takeaway with options of medium and large portion.

Braised Bamboo Pith Soup with Crab Meat, Crab Roe and Conpoy
Tasty and pack a punch of flavour, the piping hot soup was generously laden with crab meat, crab roe and conpoy, simply satisfying.


Combination of Roasted Village Chicken, Roasted Duck with Chinese Herbs and Chilled Jellyfish
This dish is definitely the highlight of our meal! Perfectly roasted, the duck laced with aromatic Chinese herbs was oozing in flavour, extremely moist and flavoursome. The roasted chicken with crispy skin was equally good too, but IMO the roasted duck wins hands down. Crisp and refreshing, the jellyfish adds a new dimension to the roast platter.

Braised Sliced Abalone with Sea Cucumber, Dried Oysters, Conpoy and Black Moss
This auspicious dish consists of precious ingredients such as sliced abalone, sea cucumber, dried oysters, conpoy and black moss was wonderfully braised, absolutely divine.

Poached White Promfret with Supreme Mushrooms in Herbs Broth
Succulent and tasty, the sweet tasting fish was laced with subtle hints of herbs flavour and topped with sliced mushrooms.

Wok Fried Sea Prawns with Salted Egg Yolk and Curry Leaves
Another favourite dish of mine! The de-shelled prawn lightly coated with salted egg yolk bursting with flavour was heavenly.

Braised Mee Sua with Shredded Chicken and Crab Meat


Delectable soft and chewy Glutinous Rice Ball filled with fragrant Black Sesame in Sweetened Ginger Soup with Wolfberries and Dried Longan

Deep Fried Chinese New Year Cake with Yam
