Christmas Returns With A Twist at Citta Mall

As Malaysia reaches 80% of the populace fully vaccinated, we are now under recovery phase with the reopening of all economic sectors. Life back to normal and finally we can meet our friends. Last weekend, I had a lot of fun catching up with my blogger friends at the 'Bloggers Day Out' event held at the CITTA Mall.

Been running a lot lately as I was training to increase my stamina for SCKL Marathon and tight hamstrings has become an issue for me. Hence, I decided to see a physiotherapist at So Stretch. Located at lower ground floor, So Stretch is a professional and lifestyle physiotherapy centre founded by an experienced Japanese physiotherapist who is dedicated to improve quality of life with an authentic Japanese body stretch and physiotherapy. The treatment help to promote blood circulation, keep the body in good shape and reduce joint pain through muscle adjustment.

I thoroughly enjoyed the session and feel so much better. If you're experiencing achy and painful joint or simply wanted to improve your mobility, you have to check them out. Highly recommended!

Next, it's time for lunch at Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar! Our lunch feast was served by a robot waiter, how cool is that?  From aromatic curry fish head, fried squid, fried chicken, acar and many more, we had a scrumptious hearty meal here.

Founded and managed by Penangites, Original Penang Kayu Nasi Kandar started out with a stall at a coffee shop in SS2 Chow Yang back in 1974. While Nasi Kandar is their star dish, don't miss out other mouthwatering dishes that sure to tickles your taste buds.

Not to forget, the viral 3 feet tall roti tissue, super thin and crispy, addictively good. Must try!

Alternatively, you can also try Deli Wau which serves the best local food and Pantai Timur authentic food. Some of the signature dishes are Deli Wau Platter, Nasi Che Siti and Nasi Goreng Tomyam.

After our satisfying lunch, we are ready for karaoke fun! Firezone Family KTV offers a great karaoke experience for the whole family. Warm up those vocal cords, peruse through your favourite tunes in multiple languages and kick back with friends over some drinks and snacks as you belt out power ballads through the night.

Located at second floor, the Firezone Family KTV is open daily from 12.00pm - 2.00am.

Craving for kuih? Drop by Onde Onde to enjoy a wonderful teatime treats. Apart from a variety of kuih-muih, we also tried sago gula Melaka, cendol gula Melaka, ABC, aromatic rojak buah, cucur sayur, belacan eggplant chips and keropok lekor. Everything was so tasty!

Indulge in the best Malaysian flavours with different ethnicities and nationalities. Bringing back a sense of nostalgia, Onde Onde is committed on delivering great taste and food quality, nothing but the best!

What better way to cool down than with a tasty Baskin Robbins ice cream? Check out the mischievous Minions Collection, yummy yellow treats.

Bellow.... How adorable!

Golden Screen Cinema offer a comfortable and memorable cinematic experience for moviegoers.

There are 11 theater halls with different unique themes in Citta Mall. This is one of my favourite, the Teddy Bear hall. How lovely!

The fully twin seats hall is ideal for couples.

Since 1990, Walther Janssen together with his wife Elka has consistently worked towards developing a skin care system which is based on multiple, highly-effective and efficient active substances. The challenge was to achieve verifiable results and therefore contribute towards improving the skin profile. With his first care product range, White Secrets, now called Fair Skin, he traveled to Asia and presented the first cosmeceutical series on a small folding table. The product series for light skin quickly took off, causing Janssen Cosmetics reputation to spread quickly.

No matter what your fitness level is, you can get a great workout at Peak Fitness. Whether you are a complete beginner or a competitive athlete, Peak Fitness is a great place to get a warm welcome, meet new friends and sweat it out.

We had so much fun exercising together.

The holiday season is upon us! A celebration like no other, CITTA Mall will be jingling all the way this December with a zest of Korean flavours. From 4 December onwards, Santa and Santarina will make their rounds to surprise shoppers at selected times, while Teddy and Polar Bear mascots are set to bring smiles on children’s faces on selected weekends. Shoppers who are fortunate enough to bump into Blanko the Living Statue on Breathing Life into Familiar Places some weekends will also be able to add some colour to his life (quite literally!) by splashing paint on his unvarnished visage.

In addition to the character meets above, shoppers will be able to get their hands dirty by decorating cupcakes, baking gingerbread man cookies, and creating Christmas ornaments in a variety of workshops. Xmas station games will also litter the grounds at CITTA Mall from 12:00pm to 6:00pm on the weekends of 4 - 5 and 11 - 12 December, so sharpshooters and excellent pitchers should definitely drop by as they may walk away with prizes when they win at these game booths. Things start to get a little culturally interesting from 14 December onwards, as shoppers will be transported to Korea at the mall’s K-Street Carnival. A

Korean-themed bazaar will be available daily from 14 - 19 December, and those who have always wanted to dress up like a character in a Joseon-era K-Drama can do so with the hanboks available at the photo booth. The weekend of 18 and 19 December will witness another electric comeback, as the mall readies its stage for not one, but two dance competitions: the CITTA Battle and K-Street Carnival K-Pop Dance Cover Competition.

In addition to the dance-offs, gourmets can look forward to the Korean Sausage Eating Challenge that will happen at 1:00pm on the weekend, just in time for lunch. On the other hand, fans of the sensational Korean television series “Squid Game” can practice flicking their wrists at a good ol’ game of Ddakji, without a handsome fellow in a suit slapping them should they fail, of course. Those who prefer a tamer sport can opt for the Tuho Challenge instead, where the goal is to throw as many arrows into a pot from a distance.
