Amazing Stay @ Hotel Equatorial Melaka

Last month, I was at the historical city of Malacca again for a staycation retreat at the luxury 5 star Hotel Equatorial. The hotel has over 496 air-conditioned rooms and suites are strategically located within walking distance to Dataran Pahlawan, Jonker Street, St. Paul Hill and Red Square.
If you are driving, ample free parking is available too. However, do take note that the car park is only accessible via staircase from the hotel lobby, thus it is best to unload your luggage at the hotel entrance.

The grand and posh lobby.

We were greeted warmly by the front desk staff and check in was a breeze too.

The room comes with one King-sized bed and a sofa bed was cosy and spacious.

Amenities include a flat screen TV, minibar, safe box and iron with ironing board. There is also a large working desk perfect for those busy executives.

Complimentary coffee/tea making facilities with 2 bottles of mineral water are provided daily.

Basic bathroom necessities are provided such as soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, comb, disposable toothbrush and toothpaste.

I thought it was lovely to decorate the bathroom with roses.

The bathtub was spacious and good for a relaxing bath.

Amazing view of Straits Melaka from my room.

For movie buff, you will be thrilled to know there's FREE unlimited in-house movies and satellite channels available all day long.

If you are not into movie, fret not, as there are a number of radio and music channel you could tune into.

The beds were clean, fluffy and super comfy too. I had a good sleep, waking up refreshed.

The hotel features 4 interconnected swimming pools including a ladies's pool.

Ladies pool.

The Equinox fitness center are well-equipped with treadmill, stationary bike, cross trainers, free weights and weight & strength machines.

Group fitness classes such as Zumba, yoga and cardio kickboxing are available too from Monday to Friday.

Overall, it was a great experience staying at Hotel Equatorial Melaka. Love the warm hospitality, easily accessible location and it is pretty affordable too. I would highly recommend you to stay with them if you're planning to visit Melaka. #I<3EQMelaka

On a side note, the Seri Nyonya Restaurant in Hotel Equatorial Melaka whipped out delicious Peranakan cuisines too. Highly recommended!
