The Mid-Autumn festival is coming soon! Are you ready for mooncake indulgence? Apart from the all-time favourites, this year, Grand Harbour Restaurant set the bar high by introducing two new unique fruity flavours, the Golden Zest and Fruity Duet. Thanks to the kind invitation from Grand Harbour Restaurant, we had the pleasure to sample these Mid-Autumn delicacies along with the special Mid-Autumn creations menu featuring nourishing dishes such as Steamed Chicken with Lotus Seed & Garlic in Lotus Leaf, Braised Spare Ribs with Chestnut & Fried Onion and Red Dates Layer Cake, meticulously prepared using seasonal ingredients such as lotus seed, chestnut and red dates.


Golden Zest RM24.50
Classic lotus paste with single yolk infused with a tinge of zesty lemon and the sweetness of honey, truly an interesting twist in flavour. Highly recommended!

Fruity Duet RM21.50
The smooth and rich blend of cranberry and lotus paste with a sweet pineapple center, absolutely delicious and packed with fruity goodness.

Braised Crab Meat Soup with Assorted Dried Seafood & Crab Roe
Rich and thick, every mouthful of the soup is filled with the sweetness of the crab roe, crab meat, scallop, fish lip and crunchy chestnut cubes.

Fried Giant Grouper Fillet in Hong Kong Fishing Village Style

Fried to perfection, the superb fresh and succulent Giant Grouper fillet were generously coated with cereal crumbs, garlic and taucu are crisp and packed with flavour, every single bite.

Steamed Chicken with Lotus Seed & Garlic in Lotus Leaf
Perfectly poached, the salted chicken was juicy, firm yet tender with lovely gelatinous chicken's skin and the right amount of saltiness. The crunchy and tasty lotus seed adds a depth of flavour and dimension to the dish.


Braised Spare Ribs with Chestnut & Fried Onion
Wonderfully braised, the spare ribs with a perfect ratio of fat lean marbling was absolutely succulent and delicious. The sweet and tender chestnut truly punch up the gravy, so luscious and flavourful.

Poached Ming Prawn with Chinese Yellow Wine
The superb fresh large prawn bathed in the sweet and aromatic Chinese wine was packed with flavour, the crustacean goodness really shines, so tasty and the broth was deliciously subtle too.

Braised Homemade Bean Curd with Fish Lips & Mushroom in Abalone Sauce
Lip smacking silky smooth beancurd in rich and luscious abalone sauce was loaded with flavour.

 
Fried Rice with Eel & Black Pepper
Masterfully fried, the beautiful grains of rice laden with eel, black pepper, corn and long bean was full of 'wok hei'.

Red Dates Layer Cake
Delicious and delicately sweet, absolutely love the chewy pudding-like texture.




The kitchen is helmed by the talented and well experienced Executive Chef Chan Peng Wah, also fondly known as Dai Bei, the Big Nose Chef. Apart from the wide range of fine Cantonese barbeque meat, be sure to try comfort dishes such as Double Steamed Tian Ma Fish Head Soup and Shanghai Braised Pork Belly.
