Day 1 - Sibu Food Trail

Greetings from Sibu, Sarawak! 

Thanks to AirAsia and Sarawak Tourism, last month, yours truly with some bloggers & media friends were flown to Sibu for a culinary adventure like no other. It was indeed an eye opening experience for me, as we are introduced to the culture, heritage and exotic local food of central Sarawak.

Love to explore culture and heritage? Why not check out the SeniKome Peng Heng exhibition happening at Resorts World Genting. "Seni Kome" actually means "Our Art" in the local Pahang dialect. The word "Kome" which is also used in several other states while "Peng Heng" is the name stated in historical documents of the Ming Dynasty in the 1520's, which refers to the East Coast region of the Malay Peninsula.
