Affordable Diploma Programmes in Early Childhood Education @ Institut CECE

The Institute of Childhood Education-Studies and Community Education (INSTITUT CECE) is a 26-year-old teacher-training institute with a teaching team made up of instructors with master's degree in preschool education. Over the years, Institut CECE has trained more than 3,500 highly qualified professional preschool educators. Its diploma programmes are accredited by both the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) of Singapore. The high-quality training strategies of Institut CECE not only guarantee final learning outcomes, but have also garnered credibility with many well-known kindergartens and nurseries in Malaysia as well as the KLC International Institute (KLCII) in Singapore. Hence, Institut CECE graduates are able to secure employment immediately after graduation.

Institut CECE offers two programmes, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Diploma in Special Needs Education. Students can opt to study full-time, part-time or on a modular basisShort-term programmes can be completed within 2.5 years, whereas long-term programmes will take 4 years. Despite the pursuit of quality and high standards, tuition fees in Institut CECE are, on the contrary, low and affordable at RM 13,560. Moreover, all tuition fees can be paid in installments at 0% interest rate.
The programme covers the basics of early childhood education, early childhood development, early childhood counselling, national preschool programme, infant care and games, special education in early childhood, kindergarten curriculum and planning, early childhood visual arts, music, mathematics, language and literacy.
Graduates who have obtained a Diploma in Early Childhood Education can either apply via credit transfer, to enrol in a Bachelor degree programme in the Department of Early Childhood Studies at Tunku Abdul Rahman University (UTAR) or other local universities, or opt to further their studies in early childhood at the University College Birmingham in the United Kingdom or Taiwan National Pingtung University.
