Taste of India @ TEMPTationS Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel


From 11 to 30 November 2016, TEMPTationS, Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel bring you 'Taste of India' by the talented Delhi born Chef Himanshu Roye to tantalise your taste buds with an incredible Indian spice sojourn. Diners can savour a selection of meticulously crafted dishes prepared using traditional spices masterfully mixed by the maestro himself.

On alternate evenings, the exclusive Live Action Station offer diners a sampling of Pav Bhaji, Keema Pav and Khurchan. If you're not familiar with Indian cuisines, Bhaji is a mixed vegetables cooked with spices while keema is minced meat simmered in Indian spices and to be consumed with pav, a type of bread.

Khurchan is a dish prepared by slow cooking shredded lamb or chicken on a hot plate with continously scraping the meat off the hot plate to avoid sticking or burning, thus giving the dish its name and flavour.

Chick peas cooked in coconut milk with curry powder, onion, garlic and chili.

Basmati rice cooked with mixed vegetables and fresh Indian herbs.


Chef Himanshu's mastery of traditional Indian spices and flavours will be demonstrated in the subtle ways he spices his culinary creations such as boneless fish tandoori, chicken tikka and tandoori lamb chops, prepared on a rotation basis. Don't forget to end your meal on a sweet note, with chef's loaudable gulab jamun too.

Apart from the prime seafood featured in the buffet, diners also can indulge in a tantalizing spread of speciality dishes that span from East to West, Japanese delights such as sushi and sashimi, Chinese hot-off-the work stir-fry, assorted pasta with traditional Italian sauces and an array selections of colourful and mouth-watering cakes, puddings, Malay kuih, ice-cream and more.

The 'Taste of India' dinner buffet is priced at RM145nett* per person and half price for children between the ages of 6 to 12 years.

*Prices are inclusive of 10% Service Charge and 6% Goods & Services Tax (GST).
