AirAsia Blogger's Community 3rd Anniversary Party @ Jakarta

Last month, AirAsia Blogger's Community celebrated its 3rd Anniversary with a bang in Jakarta and I'm so glad to be invited to join in the fun alongside with my fellow blogger friends Budiey and Nisa representing Malaysia. Just in case you didn't know, #AABC is a platform for bloggers to be updated with AirAsia's latest promotions, academy tours, inaugural flights, route launches, familiarization trips and so much more.

Our lunch on board was the delicious Uncle Chin's Chicken Rice. The aromatic Hainanese Chicken Rice was served with succulent pieces of roasted chicken and a special secret chili, ginger and garlic sauce.

Upon reaching the airport, we were each given a SIM card so we could stay connected 24/7.

We were put up in the Double Tree by Hilton hotel during our stay in Jakarta. Spacious room, clean and comfy bed with fluffy duvet and crisp white sheets, I truly enjoyed my stay in the luxurious hotel.
Plus, instead of welcome drink, Double Tree by Hilton serve us their signature cookies, which are absolutely lip-smackingly good.

Me and my roommate Nisa had a good time chilling in the room before dress-up for the Welcome Dinner.

Our dinner was scrumptious as we get to enjoy 16 types of AirAsia's Santan in-flight meals.

We had Nasi Kuning Manado, Nasi Padang, Uncle Chin's Chicken Rice, Pad Thai, Sticky Rice with Mango, Vegetarian Thai Panaeng Curry, Spicy Fried Chicken with Rice & Traditional Thai-Style Omelette, Pak Nasser's Nasi Lemak, Nasi Dagang with Chicken Curry, Longevity Noodles, Nasi Kerabu, Chicken Satay, Beef Caldereta, Purani Dilli Ke Raseele Rajma with Jeera Rice, Cheese Omelette, Lyonnaise & Potatoes and Chicken Tikka.

My personal favourite are the succulent skewers of well-marinated thick Chicken Satay grilled to perfection, blue rice Nasi Kerabu specially prepared using traditional recipes from Terengganu & Kelantan, Malaysia and Thai dessert Sticky Rice served with luscious honeyed Barracuda mango. Don't forget to pre-book your meal the next time you fly with AirAsia! The Santan Combo Meal is super worthy and tasty.

#AABC2016 was a blast with 50 bloggers from 12 countries!
Though, I don't get to talk to everyone, but it was really nice to meet all of you.
After our dinner, we were divided into 9 teams for our AirAsia Fun Race challenge the next day.

We did the hype #Mannequinchallenge for our video. It was amazing! Big shout out to Suci for her awesome video editing.

Kerak Telor
Love this spicy omelette dish made from glutinous rice and egg. Thumbs up!

Finally, it's time to head back to the hotel for a good rest and get ready for AirAsia Blogger's Community Anniversary Gala Dinner.

The dress theme for the Gala Dinner was traditional costume, hence I'm donned in a cheongsam.

And with my team mates #TeamBetawi

Team Taiwan looks stunning in their national costumes with headpieces.

Team Thailand was amazing too. Gosh... I felt so underdressed!

As we dined on our scrumptious meal, we were entertained with live music too.

And the moment everyone has been waiting for. The announcement of the winning team for AirAsia Fun Race!

Guess what? #TeamBetawi nailed it. Yes, my team won. Great job, guys!

Best Dressed winner - Vilasinee from Thailand.
After the prize giving ceremony, we continued to partied the night away. It was truly a blast!

Thank you AirAsia for having me. I am so honoured to be part of the #AABC2016 Blogger's Community Party. It was an awesome, fun and memorable experience. Hope to see everyone again next year in India for #AABC2017! *fingers crossed*
