Pampering Session @ V Beauty Care & Body Care, Oasis Square

Hi! It's January but my workload got me busy like a bee and all stressed out. So I guess a good massage session can help me to unwind and rejuvenate the body and mind.

I dragged along my friend Carol for a well deserved pampering session at one of my favourite massage centre, V Beauty Care & Body Care. I've blogged of my previous visit here. Recently, they have expanded the centre to two floors with body care on the ground floor while 1st floor is for beauty likes  facial and mani/pedi.

Aromatherapy Hot Ginger oil.

The massage therapy room is clean and comfy. Couples rooms are available too.

The one hour body massage is soothing, best for relaxation and stress relief. The experienced therapist light stroke with her fingers got me dozed off half way so you could imagine how relaxing it was. However, do note that the one hour massage does not include massage for the stomach.

I continued with an hour of foot reflexology after the body massage. The foot reflexology is done by male therapist and massages up to the knee. I love how the therapist applied the appropriate pressure to my reflex points. It may be a little strong for some, but it's perfectly fine for me.

After the reflexology, my feet feel lighter with softened points.

After our treatment, we are served a cup of complimentary warm ginger tea.

Hello! Last weekend is all about 'me' time.  My Sunday is well spent with a long overdue pampering session at the newly opened YTP Beauty Nail & Body. The beauty centre located on the first floor is just next door to HSBC Bank, Kepong with ample parking on Sunday.

Simply adore the cosy Balinese style ambiance.

My pampering session began with foot reflexology, where areas and points on the feet are applied pressure to stimulate movement of energy along the nerve channels. It may not be very soothing or comfortable, but it's good for maintaining a healthy balance and essential for our well being. My feet feel so light after reflexology, I feel like going for a run immediately. Hehehe.... 

Due to recent frequent workout, apart from being more toned, I'm also blessed with sore and tensed muscles too. Thanks to the masseur Auntie Lily lovely pair of hands, helps relieve my sore muscles and I feel more relaxed instantly too. Highly recommend her for her excellent massage skills! She will began with soothing massage and ending it with trigger point massage which again may not be comfortable, but it's aid in the removal of lactic acid.

Last but not least, manicure & pedicure.
As usual filling, buffing, cuticle removal and lastly foot scrub.

Instead of plain colour, I opt for nail art. Nail art charges start from RM8 and varies according to design.

Hey ladies! So how do you spend the long holidays? I spent mine by giving myself some self pampering session. Been a while since the last time I went for massages. Visited V Beauty Care & Body Care located within Oasis Square in Ara Damansara for a wellness treatments to promote my well-being and relaxation. Begin my treatment with oil massages to relax my body and improves blood circulation. Intense training does tone up my muscle a lot till I had a good laugh with the therapist. She questioned me, what do I put in my stomach? I'm like??? Huh... I don't put anything except my organs? Perhaps,it's my muscles? She seems very amazed with my muscled abs. LOL

Anyway, I enjoyed the soothing massage session, though an hour definitely kind of short for full body massage. 

Had a cup of hot ginger tea after the massage. 

Next, facial! As usual, facial begins with double cleanse, extraction, facial massage followed by a mask. End results.... Brightens and hydrated skin.

Spa pedicure.

Spa = Scrub, mask and mini sauna. Aww... After the treatment, my hand and feet feel so smooth and soft.

Opt for simple bling bling nails tips with yellow nail colours manicure.

Happy me with relaxed body, beautiful nails and glowing facial.

Gel Manicure at beeQNails, Petaling Jaya

Alright, enough of the sweet memories. Let me share a little about beeQNails. Apparently, they are sponsoring for quite a few of Astro's host and blogger. So what's the different between normal manicure and gel manicure? A gel manicure is a type of nail treatment in which a manicurist uses gel polish to color them. Though gel nails are generally long-lasting and don't chip, people do have to take special care when removing them. Therefore, it's best to went back beeQNails for removal since it's complimentary after all. 

During a gel manicure, manicurist first cleans and shapes my natural nails and pushes the cuticles back. They are very gentle with cuticle cleaning as I've been to some nail saloon which is pretty rough. They then applies base coat, which helps polish adhere better, and then applies several coats of polish to the nails. After each layer is painted on, I am require to puts my hands under a small LED lamp for 30 seconds to cure and harden it. The manicurist ends by applying a clear top coat to seal and protect the nails. Gel manicure generally lasts for a few weeks without significantly changing or chipping.

This is taken after 2 weeks plus. Slight chipping off on the ring finger while others is still doing real good. Notice how much my nails grown?
