Taking a break from the traditional Yee Sang dish, this tantalizing Japanese-inspired Yee Sang served with a variety of authentic Japanese ingredients such as seasoned jellyfish, mekabu seaweed, Japanese cucumber, sesame and more truly impressed me. What's more when it's topped with a unique and appetising citrus-infused sauce, perfectly complement with the freshest ingredients to bring out the flavours of Yee Sang. One of the best Yee Sang I've had especially when we add on more Salmon and Jellyfish!

Colours Of Spring @ Zuan Yuan, One World Hotel

Treat your friends and family to auspicious dishes presented with Yezi’s signature coconut-based broths for a season of luck and prosperity. Three choices of steamboat packages offer a true splendour of Cantonese delights including a generous serving of Yu Sang, fresh seafood, imported meat slices, premium handmade meat & fish balls, pastes, organic vegetables, noodles and signature coconut dessert. Price starts from RM798 (10pax) and RM538 (6pax) available from now till 29th February, 5pm – 1am and all packages is inclusive of Yee Sang. 

Throughout the fifteen days of Chinese New Year each dining table will get to dip into the 'Ang Pao Fortune Box' with a total value of RM8,888 in food vouchers up for grabs. One of Yezi's Signature Coconut-based Broth, the vegetarian broth has strong, extraordinary and earthy flavours with a bouquet of truffles. It is also highly beneficial as they are rich in protein, essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Simply superb.

Apart from the Original Yezi Broth, others include Imperial Canton Broth, Aromatic Taiwanese Beef Spice Broth and Fragrant 'Shao Xing' Wine Seafood Broth.

Springtime Floral Lunar New Year @ 1 Utama, Petaling Jaya

Gong Xi Gong Xi..... The other day I was at 1 Utama, I can't help to check out its festive decoration at LG Oval concourse. And of course, a pic opportunity with Jordan Yeoh. (our durian man) :p

1 Utama is also the 6th largest mall in the world has brilliant lanterns hung outdoors and around the mall, in the bejeweled tassels adorning the walkways and in the bright ribbons and decorations that shout prosperity and exuberance.

Wooden towers with tall oriental structures and arches are built to house 36 festive shopping kiosks for visitors to shop and walk about.

The festive mood is further set with real bamboos, a kaleidoscope of colourful honeycomb paper lanterns and bouquet after bouquet of giant peonies and flowers to mimic the floral spring time lunar season. 

Beside shopping, don't miss out the exciting cultural performances lined up. 

1 Utama has also invited three famous lion dance troupes to perform throughout the month, which include Hong Teik Acrobatic Lion Dance 2015 National Champion, Kun Seng Keng Acrobratic Lion Dance and Khuan Loke Acrobatic Lion Dance.
