Last weekend, I managed to take some time out of the pre-Christmas rush for a much needed pampering session. Did you know taking a break once in a while could do wonders for your mind, body and soul?

Herbaline "Beauty and The Feast" Spa Party @ HerbaLine Facial Spa, Puchong

Hello! It was a blast with these wonderful ladies at the Herbaline "Beauty and The Feast" Spa Party held recently at HerbaLine Facial Spa, Puchong. It has been rather stressful lately, rushing for crazy deadlines and commitments, hence, a spa party sound like a great idea. I've visited the Ampang branch before for the "Eat Well, Look Well, Live Well" retreat, and boy it was such a pleasant holistic staycation. Although, this particular branch does not offer accommodation, fret not, you will still experience the holistic spa experience. 

Happier Hour Promotion @ HealthLand Wellness Center

Last month, I was invited for a pampering good time at  HealthLand Wellness Centre with a few of my blogger friends.

We first had our hand paraffin treatment at Amante. Our hands are applied cream before dipped into the warm paraffin wax. Then, our hands are wrapped in cling wrap for about 15 minutes. After the wax is removed, hands feels softer and moist. 

Before we begin our foot reflexology, our feet are washed first. 

Entering into the foot reflexology treatment hall feels like going into a mini cinema.

Foot reflexology helps to improve blood circulation and boost our organ functions. I love the moderate pressure applied on my reflex points by the therapist. It was relaxing and I truly enjoyed the session.

There's also a movie playing in the room with headphones provided for privacy. So if you are not into watching the movie, just close your eyes and enjoy the massage. Which is exactly what I did! :p

Next, we are ushered into the massage room for our Thainess Oil Massage session. The therapist applied body oil and begin light stroking followed by kneading and acupressure. The one hour massage then ends with a good pull and stretch which is relaxing and I felt energized too.

After our relaxing massage session, we have our tea break at One + Another cafe which is located in Healthland. 

The cafe serves cakes, pastries and beverages like coffee, tea and fruit juices.

It was a superb pampering session with the friendly and experienced staff. Hey ladies! So how do you spend the long holidays? I spent mine by giving myself some self pampering session. Been a while since the last time I went for massages. Visited V Beauty Care & Body Care located within Oasis Square in Ara Damansara for a wellness treatments to promote my well-being and relaxation. I can be assured in the good hands of therapists with up to 5 years of experience, dispense services like full body massages, foot reflexology, and scrubs, facials and even manicure & pedicure under one roof. Scheduling for an appointment was a breeze too.

Begin my treatment with oil massages to relax my body and improves blood circulation. Intense training does tone up my muscle a lot till I had a good laugh with the therapist. She questioned me, what do I put in my stomach? I'm like??? Huh... I don't put anything except my organs? Perhaps,it's my muscles? She seems very amazed with my muscled abs. LOL

Anyway, I enjoyed the soothing massage session, though an hour definitely kind of short for full body massage. 

Had a cup of hot ginger tea after the massage. 

Next, facial! As usual, facial begins with double cleanse, extraction, facial massage followed by a mask. End results.... Brightens and hydrated skin.

Spa pedicure.

Spa = Scrub, mask and mini sauna. Aww... After the treatment, my hand and feet feel so smooth and soft.

Opt for simple bling bling nails tips with yellow nail colours manicure.

Happy me with relaxed body, beautiful nails and glowing facial.

MATRIX BIOLAGE COLORLAST SHAMPOO (Made in USA) 

Paraben free. Colorlast nourishes and protects to help maintain the depth, tone and shine of color-treated hair.

I just colored my hair and this came in perfect timing. Love it's smell, hair feel light and only shampooing alone, my hair tangle free and soft as if I've applied conditioner. 

SNAIL SOLUTION HYDROGEL MASK SHEET (Made in Korea) 

Contains snail secretion filtrate and its refreshing texture soothes distressed skin while gently embracing the surface of the face, moisturizing from inside out. 

What a pretty packaging rite, with all the cute Korean oppa.

This hydrogel mask is kind of big to fit me perfectly. I do like how it attached firmly onto my face. And it brightens and give a glow to my face.

HYDRALURON MOISTURE BOOSTING MASK (Made in Japan) 

With 3D time release hyaluronic acid, hydrate your skin from beneath the surface for 24 hours of long lasting moisture retention. Skin instantly feels softer, smoother, plumped and glowing. 

This sheet mask is lengthier than usual mask. Or perhaps my forehead is just too low? Lol

Anyway, I like the generous essence left in the packet. Slapping all the remaining essence to my face, still have extra for my body! 😛 I do feel my skin so smooth and soft, slight plumper too.

ALWAYS 21 ALOE VERA SOOTHING GEL MIST (Made in Korea) 

Soothing & refresh 

It's my first time come across this brand.

The mist is not the cooling type in fact it leave a little sticky after feels. Maybe because of its aloe vera content.

L'OCCITANE VELVET HAND CREAM (Made in France)

Light texture and penetrate easily without leaving a sticky or oily residue.
