Journey Through The Asian Continent with Asia Food Festival 2019 @ Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur


From now until 14 July 2019, indulge in the best of Asian cuisines featuring a myriad of flavours from Thailand, Indonesia, China, Philippines, Japan, India, Cambodia and Malaysia, all under one roof at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The 'Asia Food Festival 2019' buffet dinner showcases authentic traditional Asian food that not only tastes delicious but also packed with great health benefits too. Unlike the typical Western diet which usually consists of highly processed food, the traditional Asian cuisine uses natural ingredients without the use of chemicals.


In term of the style of cooking, Asian cuisine emphasis on lightly prepared dishes coupled with a strong aromatic component that features flavours such as citrus and herbs like lime, coriander/cilantro and basil. One of the methods of cooking that is unique for these dishes is the combination of salt and sugar, compared to most cooking methods as these ingredients usually work against each other. With proper mixing technique and the right amount of ingredients, the mixture can whip up a unique taste that is distinguishable from each of Asia's food.


The lavish buffet spread at Big Apple Restaurant offer an endless choice of more than 150 gourmet delights such as itik masak kari kentang, ikan merah berlada cili hijau, braised lamb 'Navarin' with spring vegetables, pan-stir Vietnamese chicken ginger, Southern Thai beef curry, pan-seared seabass fillet with hoisin sauce, udang masak lemak cili padi, beef massaman curry and many more.

Also not to be miss, a selection of live cooking station that features on various types of Asian cuisines from Japan, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philipines, Myanmar and Thailand. The delicacies available from the stalls include Vietnamese spring roll, Chicken prahok dip, Kare-kare, Som tom, Tom yam gong, Pad thai, Burmese vegetable bitter curd tempura, Bun cha, Vietnamese pancake, Dim sum and Sushi, just to name a few.
