With the rising cost of living, a simple meal with drinks will definitely cost you at least RM7-RM10 plus for a person. Would you believe me, if I were to tell you "Nah, you still can get a good meal with drinks for RM5 in Klang Valley" 

But.......... sorry that this is not a healthy food option, but it's definitely alright to indulge once a while right. Well, last week is all about cheat days for me. So I was at the Giant, Bandar Kinrara for an appointment and decided to have lunch first. There's no foods outlet that caught my attention, until I went nearby to Giant's exit door. 

Uncle Jack Fried Chicken, with quite a few customer patronizing looks ok to me. Browse thru their menu, to my surprise the prices here are very much affordable, in fact IMO it's cheap!

2 pcs of fried chicken, small rice and a drink only cost RM5.00!!!

The taste definitely up to par with the famous ones, in fact it's served piping hot! Not to mention, very fresh chicken too.

I truly enjoyed it and will not mind to come here again for my cheat days. 😁

AROI DEE THAI RESTAURANT AND COURTYARD @ PALM GARDEN HOTEL

Palm Garden Hotel, Aroi Dee Thai Restaurant is located in a serene surroundings perfect especially on a breezy evening to enjoy exceptionally good Thai and Nyonya cuisine.

Incidentally, the restaurant's name itself "Aroi Dee' means Good Taste in Thai language and promising satisfaction for every guest that dines here with it's ala carte menu. 

Heading the kitchen is Chef Seeri a/l Din Ren with 25 years of experience working in several Thai restaurants in Malaysia and Singapore. One of his most prominent experiences is serving the Sultan of Brunei for 4 years along with other Chefs. With his diverse background and experience, Chef Seeri prepares cuisine from all areas of Thailand as well as Nyonnya and local cuisine. 

Red Tom Yam Soup (Seafood)

One of my top recommendation would be the Red Tom Yam Soup. Perfectly done with balance of sour, sweet, spice and herbs within. 

Kaw Phad Sapporat (Fried Rice with Pineapples)

Love it's colour! Delicious fried rice with generous serving of cashew nuts.

Keng Keaw Wan (Green Curry with Chicken)

Thai foods is not complete without the green curry. Spicy comforter, I truly enjoyed the creamier texture.

Kung Phad Prik Pow (Sauteed Prawns with Roasted Chillis)

Fresh prawn with fragrant of chillis but not too spicy.

Tippan Ngubak (Sizzling Beef Nyonya Style)

Beef cooked just right coupled with the bell pepper is truly satisfaction.

Enche Kabin (Nyonya Style Fried Chicken)

I love this the most, enjoying every bite of it. Crispy skin yet so moist and tender meat inside.

 Plar Neang Pek Sak (Seabass Steamed Thai Style)

Very fresh succulent and sweet seabass with slight sourish spicy, it's really appetizing.

Kaa Na Phad Kratian (Fried Hong Kong Kale with Sliced Garlic)

Fresh vege done just right. 

Water Chestnut

Extremely thick coconut milk, this is an awesome desserts to end the meal. Crunchy chestnut coupled with sweet jackfruit bites! I could not resist for second serving. 😅

Last Saturday, I was invited by Halim Brothers for a makan session at Pak John Steamboat & BBQ buffet with other fellow bloggers. Steamboat buffet are available at the Ecurve Mall outlet with more than 100 dishes served for all you can eat.

Priced at only RM36++ this seems like a great bargain as the buffet comes with unlimited supply of premium seafood, Australia beef slices, New Zealand lamb slices, smoked duck breast, premium abalone slices and much much more....... Not forgetting, a variety of soups for your choice namely prawn, miso, tom yam, curry, beef bone and chicken soup. For sure, there's one that suit your taste buds.

Our dinner are accompanied with live band performance by Voxscape Acoustic serenading Malay and English song. We are well entertained with good foods and nice songs. In fact, there's a young lady celebrating her birthday at Pak John that day, Voxscape Acoustic presented a birthday song for her. She's look blissfully happy. This is a great venue for birthday celebration! :)
