Jewellery Making with Elegant Jewellery Studio

Jewellery is an important accessory for women to enhance their beauty. You could turn a boring look into something spectacular with the right jewellery. It will be much more meaningful when you could wear your own jewellery creation. Yes, it's possible! I had the chance to join one of the jewellery workshops organized by Elegant Jewellery Studio held at Kinokuniya Books last month, thanks to a dear friend's recommendation.

Some of the jewellery creations you could DIY from the workshop.

In the 3 hour workshop, we learned to bead a necklace with the materials provided.

Upon selecting our preferred colour and design, we began our jewellery making under the guidance of Angi, the founder of Elegant Jewellery Studio (EJS). Ohh... I'm so excited to see my jewellery outcome.

The whole process is one word. Tedious! Just imagine beading for 3 hours straight.

And from this.....

To this..... Finally!!!

Awww.... So proud of myself. I did it!
I'm so in love with my necklace. All the hard work is really worth it. Isn't it beautiful?

Instead of buying, why not try making your own jewellery? Ahem... guys may want to try making jewellery for your loved one? Definitely a priceless gift. Besides the adult workshop, EJS also has jewellery workshop for children too.

Pic credit to Angi.
Thanks Angi for having me!

Had about 12 scoops of ice-cream with my partner in crime. My personal favourite would be vanilla, hazelnut, chewy sticky chocolate, strawberry and yummy raisin. Ohh... so many!!! LOL

For a complete meal, we had the Ramadhan Treat "Spring Chicken" for RM19.90 nett. One whole bird with fries and salad, the spring chicken is fried juicy and tender, finger-licking good.

All in all, it's one worthy meal, though the service could do better. Definitely a calorie-laden meal, guilty pleasures.

Despite being in its first year, Veet Mega Model Search 2015 received an overwhelming response from Malaysian girls who dreamed of making it big as a supermodel. Entries coming from almost 800 hopeful contestants were then shortlisted to Top 10 finalists.

The 'Grand Finale' was held in Le Meridien Hotel, Kuala Lumpur recently with judging panel made up of  Matias Caride(Marketing Director, RB Malaysia & Singapore), Karin Chan (Marketing Manager, Veet Malaysia & Singapore) Izara Aishah (Veet ambassador), Amber Chia (Malaysian supermodel and founder of Amber Chia Academy) and Benjamin Toong (Catwalk Guru of Amber Chia Academy). Razors are for men.
Veet, for girls.

Amber Chia hoped that the winner would make full use of the opportunities given to her. She said "I remembered my first big break, when I was named the winner of Guess Timeless Beauty Model Search in 2004. Winning the competition has opened so many doors for me, and I am truly grateful for what I've been able to achieve. That's why I think Veet Mega Model Search is a great opportunity for girls who dream of becoming a model, like what I used to wish for when I was their age."
In terms of what makes the winner in this search, Amber said "I'm looking for a model who has it all - height, bone structure, poise, a good sense of style and most importantly confidence that exudes from within."

Known for her flawless smooth skin, Izara Aishah vouched for the effectiveness of the all-new Veet Brightening Hair Removal Cream. "I need to make sure I look my best at all times, but I don't like to spend too much time on beauty maintenance. The Brightening Hair Removal Cream is the perfect product for me as it does two things at once, it removes all traces of hair while making sure my skin looks fairer and smoother! I don't have to worry about uneven skin tone of discolouration, and because of this, I feel so much more confident and feminine when I'm working or making public appearances," she commented.

2) Crystal Tung Lu Yie
3) Selvarani A/P Paramsivam

The Top 10 finalists would also stand a chance to be selected by Amber Chia Academy for a direct entry into the audition of Malaysia Supermodel Search 2015.

Thanks to Veet, we can feel confident in our own skin now. For many women, confidence stems from knowing that you are taking care of your appearance. Veet's latest products, Brightening Hair Removal Cream for 'Normal to Dry Skin' and 'Sensitive Skin' allows you to stay true to your feminine side by brightening skin while removing unwanted hair. It not only removes short, stubborn hairs, but also gently removes dead skin cells for a smoother, visibly brighter skin with every depilation. Enriched with microbeads, it also exfoliates skin gently yet effectively for a brightened effect.

Ending this with a selfie with gorgeous Amber Chia. XOXO
