First World Hotel, New Tower 2 Annex

Hey! If you followed me on my social media, you'll noticed I just got back from a short getaway to Genting Highlands. It's been a while, since my last visit and Genting Highlands transformation had been tremendous. The new era had arrived in the form of Tower 2 Annex, an extension to Tower 2 making First World Hotel, one of the largest hotel in the world with a total of 7,351 rooms. Guests can now expect a trendy and chic three-star hotel.

Stunning view along the connecting hallway.

Amazing and modern contemporary setting in the lobby, complete with 3D television visuals and a designer's featured wall.

The signature Terminal 2 Cafe located in the lobby features freshly baked pastries, soups, snacks and beverages from 7.30 am to midnight for those on the go. It also has seats for dine in, with complimentary wi-fi access.

Check-in is much easier now with the E-Kiosk self check-in system which comes in English and Chinese language. Guest with pre-paid advance booking can check-in via E-Kiosk by using membership cards, MyKad or Passport.

Checking out also made easy by just dropping the room key card into the Check out E-Kiosk. There are 15 units available at Tower 1 and Tower 2 while 4 units at Tower 2 Annex.

World Club Rooms are furnished with either two single beds or one queen bed, with beautiful view of resort or mountain.

Spacious bathroom.

Superior Deluxe Room come with two single beds or one queen size bed.

My crib for the night is the XYZ Deluxe with two single beds which cost RM351nett (Peak season) excluding breakfast.

The room has a 32" Flat Screen TV, international socket and USB Power Point, mini fridge, in-room safe and coffee making facilities.

WC, basin and shower are separated by frosted glass walls, comes with liquid soap, soap, shower cap and sanitary bag.

We end our night with a sumptuous dinner at the Rajawali Coffee House, Awana Genting Hotel.

Chili crab.

My mouth-watering Nasi Kerabu.

Not forgetting, the whole roasted lamb. The ribs are marvelously done, tender and delicious.

Had a great time with my fellow blogger friend and the adorable kids. The gentleman in the tie is Ronald. It's my first time meeting him and it is his last day with Genting too. All the best to you, Ronald! Thanks for having me.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I love the room modern, spacious and practical design. Will definitely book my stay here again in future. I am also looking forward to the opening of 20th Century Fox World Theme Park and Sky Avenue Mall soon.
