After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, the Tiger Street Food Festival is back on-ground, and this time with maze-like alleyways and curated experiences for fans to enjoy an elevated street food experience. Tiger has gone all out to provide an authentic but innovative experience leading up to the festival beginning with the launch of the Hottest Hunt microsite in September. Fans came together to recommend the hottest street food spots and contributed to create a directory of bold street food dishes to try with approximately 1,000 pins dropped to date.

Tiger Street Food is Firing Up the Hottest Hunt
Street food is life! Especially when paired with ice cold Tiger beer, don't you agree? As a beer born and raised in the streets of Asia, Tiger continued to champion this platform even when dining out was not possible in the recent years. All this to ensure that the local street food vendors got the recognition they deserved. After two years of hosting its fan-favourite Street Food Festival virtually, Tiger is making a big comeback with its iconic street food festival on-ground for a street food experience like never before.

Tiger Bites Street Food Festival @ Avenue K Rooftop
Hello! Still remember the Tiger Bites trip I went with Tiger Beer few months ago in search of the best street food hunt? Well, in conclusion of the Tiger Bites, the rooftop of Avenue K is being transformed to resemble popular street food markets of Kuala Lumpur with a scrumptious spread of popular Malaysian hawker food dished out al fresco dining style. Wow... besides getting spoilt for choice with the wide variety of delicious street foods and we are treated to ice cold Tiger Beer. A perfect pairing. :D
The specially created Tiger Beer cocktails, Roaring Passion and Bite Me, Cherry.
While we are busy with foods and boozes, we are also entertained by Talitha Tan awesome performances.
Flying wantan mee.
Hokkien mee.
The night is ended with a surprise of two Lok Lok truck making its appearance for supper. Too bad I missed this!
Apart from foods, there are exciting activities such as ‘Go Nuts for Nuts’ and ‘Get Your Balls Straight’ games so we could win a stamp to redeem for more beer!
As it began raining later in the evening, we then make our way indoor to ‘Chill lah’ area to kick back and relax.
Back in August, Tiger Bites challenged foodies to a gastronomical hunt around Malaysia to uncage hidden street flavours. Embarking on roads less travelled, food lovers traversed the country in search for rare but yummy hawker nom noms, pinning their discoveries on Tiger Beer’s microsite www.tigerbites.com.my for others to explore.
Prizes such as 18 sets of GoPros, phone lenses and selfie tripods were rewarded to participants of this 11 week long contest. The participant who put together the best street food trail (which combines the most number of pins dropped and total distance travelled) was then awarded with an all-expenses paid trip for two to Taiwan where more great meals await. Congrats to all the winners.
