Mid-Autumn 2015 Ala Carte Menu @ Tai Thong

This mid-autumn, besides indulging Tai Thong's delicious mooncakes, do check out the scrumptious special mid-autumn ala carte menu too. Also fruity inspired, the dishes are made to complement the mooncakes fruity flavour.

Double-boiled Chicken Soup with Conpoy, Papaya and Snow Fungus
Nourishing double-boiled soup, tasty, hearty soup.

Crispy Soft-Shell Crab with Mango and Kiwi Sauce
Excellent combination of soft-shell crab with tangy mango and kiwi sauce.
Instead of the usual banana, it's mango and kiwi fritters which is amazing tasty too.

Pan-seared Scallop with Blueberry and Apricot

What a pretty and colourful dish! The sweet blueberry and apricot adds a sweet and a savoury note to the juicy succulent scallop.

Stuffed Prawn with Palm Sugar and Fresh Orange
Another beautiful creation, tasty and bouncy stuffing with zesty orange flavour.

Fried Prawn with Pineapple and Jackfruit Sauce

De-shelled deep fried crispy prawn cooked with sweetness from jackfruit, indeed an interesting combination. I prefer this more than the stuffed prawn.
Spicy Pineapple Fried Rice with Vegetarian Floss
Fried rice with generous vegetarian floss, however, not spicy as what I expected.

Blueberry and Cranberry Sponge Cake
Peony Puff Pastry with Pineapple and Jackfruit
Ending the dinner on a sweet note with pretty desserts.
The usual sponge cake is added with blueberry and cranberry goodness, while the peony puff is a tad sweet to my liking.

With the happy foodies gang.
