BONE & POT'S NEW COLLAGEN SOUP (Non Halal)

With our current hectic lifestyle, most of us preferred to dine out due to the limited time to prep for a home cooked meal. However, a meal outside for sure can make our tummy happy, but what about our health? Deng!!!! Don't ever take our health for granted. Go for tasty yet healthy food. Was invited for a review with Bone & Pot new offering "Collagen Soup" Boy... I am amazed once I heard of it! I mean which ladies doesn't like COLLAGEN? LOL

Bone & Pot's famed for it's Hong Kong origins and concept of signature steamboat. Established in Malaysia since November 2009, now it has a total of 9 branches serving its delicious delicacies nationwide. Delicious broth base is made of quality bones for that original taste you crave for. The Bone & Pot delicacy consists of three important elements which are quality broth, fresh ingredients and irresistibly delicious dipping sauces.

Top pic : Jelly like collagen
Bottom pic : After heated, collagen jelly melts....

The must have condiments, mixture of fried garlic, fermented bean curd and dried shrimp chili sauce for the extra kick!

The secret ingredient for the "Collagen Soup" is the collagen jelly, derived from deep sea marine sources imported fresh from Japan. Cube of milky white collagen jelly like, once heated the milky collagen jelly melts instantly to a white, sweet, thick and creamy texture soup. Red dates and wolf berries are added for more goodness. In between the meal, pork bone soup base boiled to perfection with generous amounts of healthy and nutritious ingredients will be refilled.

The combination set

Homemade pork ball

Crab roe ball

Squid ball

Pork slices vs Canada fat beef
Seriously, can never had enough!

DIY Fish paste noodle, very springy texture

Golden bean curd, so soft inside yet so crisp outside! My new found love.... 😍

Deep fried bean curd skin

Deep fried salt & pepper soft-boned chicken

  2. First time to know this Collagen Soup. Is it like dimsum or like a coagulated rice powdered in H2O? Bone marrow coagulated soup with veggies, for sure, taste's great with pao.

  3. Never heard of Collagen Soup. At first, I thought you're talking about soap. But as I browse your photos, you're talking with the food instead. People always innovate things and that's good. Looking forward to try this kind of soup. :)

  4. Collagen soup? Sorry if I have to say this but before it is heated, it looks weird and funny. I wouldn't want to take that. I'd request they heat it before handing to me because it would take my appetite away.

The food looks different and for very adventurous people, this would be a must try!

  15. Not sure if the collagen properties would be still valid since it is heated and melted. Alot of nutritions cannot survive high heat in actual reality but the marketers will take it to their advantage anyway.
However, i am more inpressed with their aide dishes. You can tell the variety of fosh and meat balls took effort!!
For that, it is already enough to get me interested to go try!

I think it would be great if you had included the address to this restaurant. :)

    Nice review.
