Mission Foods Malaysia Food Truck Featuring Australian Masterchef Winner Adam Liaw Recipes

A few months ago, I had a chance to attend the meet and greet session with the Australian MasterChef winner, author, and TV host, Adam Liaw. In conjunction with the launching of The Little Red Food Truck in Malaysia by Mission Foods, Malaysian-born Adam, winner of the second season Australian Masterchef has been engaged to create the menu selection for the Mission Food Truck which started making its rounds in selected spots in the Klang Valley now.

With the trending of food truck in the Klang Valley, The Little Red Food Truck will be the first food truck that features the entire menu by an international chef. Here are the five main items on the menu Asian-inspired yet with Adam's signature flair.

 Beef Bulgogi Kimchi Wrap
Korean inspired, the mouthwatering wrap will definitely be a popular choice in Malaysia. It a great choice to jazz up breakfast or lunch.

Coconut Prawn Wrap with Spicy Tamarind Mayonnaise
Packed with all the flavours Malaysians love in the most delightful way. Biting into this wrap will be an experience on its own.

Laksa Fried Chicken Wrap with Pineapple Salsa

The usual laksa, taken to a whole new level with the Laksa Fried Chicken Wrap with Pineapple Salsa. Each tender piece of chicken is marinated with a special laksa paste recipe, then deep fried before topping with a refreshing pineapple salsa, fresh with every order. Each bite promises an explosion of taste and textures.

Lamb Shank Rendang with Sweet Radish Achar
Rendang is given a gourmet twist with an unforgettable crunch and sweetness from the achar for the hunger-inducing.

Roast Carrot Hummus with Avocado Wrap
For a light meal and the vegetarians, there’s the Roast Carrot Hummus with Avocado Wrap featuring creamy and sweet mashed caramelized carrots, deliciously buttery avocados and with a slight crunch from the fresh vegetables. One is never enough!

Adam Liaw’s collaboration with Mission Foods will bring something new to the local food scene, as there has never been an international celebrity chef linked to a food truck in Malaysia. My favourite wrap will be the Beef Bulgogi Kimchi Wrap and Roast Carrot Hummus with Avocado Wrap. Yum yum....

The gourmet wraps will be available on The Little Red Food Truck making its rounds in the Klang Valley. For the updates on the weekly schedule, please visit Mission Foods Malaysia’s facebook. Price ranges from RM 6.99 to RM7.99 (not inclusive of GST).
