Minced Chicken Dumplings topped with Dried Scallops
Succulent Prawn Wanton with Chili Vinaigrette
Incredibly juicy and flavourful
, such a joy to eat.
Green Dragon Chive Dumplings
Thin, translucent skin filled with succulent prawn and subtly flavoured
with chive, truly an enchanting combination.
Pan Seared Shanghai Dumplings
Pan fried to golden brown, each dumpling was generously laden with juicy meat.
Golden Yam Puff
Perfectly done, the pastry was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside with a generous amount of mouth-watering filling. Must try!
Crispy Prawn Toast with Sesame
Aromatic and succulent prawn topped with sesame crust, this is definitely my favourite
Deep Fried Oysters
Beautiful presentation resembling the sea world, the fried oyster was absolutely fresh and delicious, simply addictive.
Barbecued Chicken with Glazed Honey Sauce
Looks good, but taste wise, IMHO, the meat was a tad dry and heavily coated with the sweet and savoury
Aromatic Duck Breast with Tea Leaf
Extremely tender, every bite was full of flavour
Baked Cod Portugese Style
A pretty unique combination, we have the cod fish, stinky beans (petai
), eggplant, okra and long beans baked in Portugese gravy, delicious and spicy, a memorable dish indeed.
Oriental Grilled Lamb with Mongolian Sauce, Sautéed Greens & Diced Mango
Succulent and juicy lamb flavoured with tangy Mongolian sauce, meat lovers would love to sink their teeth into.
Claypot Szechuan Style Bean Curd with Assorted Vegetables
Soft and silky bean curd loaded with flavour
, goes so well with a bowl of hot steamed rice.
Sweetened Mango Purée with Sago and Pomelo
Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, we ended our meal on a sweet note with the gorgeous and tasty mango puree.
Chef Kok Chee Kin has masterfully helmed the kitchen through his unfailing adherence to Cantonese cuisine's principles for years. According to him, Cantonese cuisine is famously subtle and the cooking techniques are kept simple with steaming, braising, stir frying and some of the processes that go in a dish are known to be complex. Diners are treated to an interesting array of dishes that is light on the palate while emphasizing on a distinct primary flavour
of the main ingredients used.
