The Eighth Avenue @ Publika, Solaris Dutamas (Non Halal)

A few weeks ago, I was invited to Jeffery Cheng's fans gathering at The Eighth Avenue. It was also the finale of his drama 'The Pulse of Life' on NTV7 where we get to watch the drama with Jeffery while being treated to a sumptuous dinner. The Eighth Avenue is a non halal resto, bar specialised in exquisite flavours of Australian-European classics with a fusion twist.

The bar with an extensive selection of wine and liquor.

Warm and relaxed atmosphere with minimalist decor.

Magical Lychee Pork RM26.90
The deep fried lychee stuffed with minced pork is savoury and sweet with a refreshing burst of lychee. So addictive! Highly recommended.

Phatboy Squid RM19.90
For seafood lovers, you got to try this tasty squid stuffed with minced shrimp and fish served with squid ink on the side.

Sunny Salmon RM37.90
Perfectly pan-seared succulent salmon fillet served with cauliflower, bacon sauce, sundried tomatoes and asparagus. Love the crisp skin and juicy meat.

BBQ Lamb Rack RM49.90
Fork tender lamb rack served with mashed potatoes and broccoli.

Beef Tenderloin RM59.90
Highly recommended! Buttery texture tenderloin served with asparagus, tender root veggies, chimichurri sauce and spiced potatoes.

We ordered ours medium rare, it was superb.

Ended our dinner on a sweet note with the sinfully good cheese cake.

Classic Margarita RM25.90
Fruity and sweet, it is also available in other flavours such as lychee, passion fruit, strawberry, apple, peach or mango.

In a nutshell, it was a memorable dining experience with brilliant foods and great ambiance. I am definitely looking forward to a revisit soon to try out other dishes.
