Hello! Still remember my previous post on the US Potato Culinary Festival? Rendezvous Steak Garden Restaurant in Subang Jaya is one of the restaurant that took up the challenge of creating unique potato dishes. I was there for a food tasting session with my foodie pals few weeks ago and here are some of the dishes we sampled.
Escargot (1/2 dozen) RM13.80
Escargot served on a bed of magnificent garlic cheese goodness.
Potato Skin RM8.80
Again yet another cheesy goodness, this round with Potato Skin. Crisp potato skin with melted cheese filling definitely appetizing.
Curry Potato Mash (Not available in the menu, special order request)
Ohh... I love this very much. Rendition of curry puff instead of the usual pastry, it is replaced with potato. The curry mash potato is so smooth and full of flavour.
Fondue Chicken RM18.80
One of US Potato Culinary dish, Fondue Chicken is an interesting combination. Deliciously piping hot cheese all ready to be dipped into, with crunchy deep fried chicken, potato wedge, bun, boiled broccoli and sweet carrot.
Fresh fruits and crackers drizzled with in-house made prawn paste sauce. IMO, the prawn paste sauce lack of 'kick'.
Lava Chocolate Cake with Coconut Ice Cream
Soft chocolate cake with warm and gooey fillings. The premium ice cream definitely worth checking out.
So pretty and tasty too.
Tropical Fruit Tea
A tad sourish, this is a good detox tea rich in vitamins and minerals with combinations of lemon, orange, apple and passion fruit.
